First time being in the Alamo Heights area, and have heard amazing things about this place. Finally decided to try it out and the cupcakes and lunch were delicious. I got a strawberry cupcake and California Turkey. 10/10!!! Employees there were amazing and so helpful. David and Caitlyn provided the best customer service. David made sure I didn't feel rushed and helped me decide what to get. Will definitely be coming back! :)
Bird Bakery made our reception cake and did a phenomenal job. Not only were they super accommodating and took my order on short notice, but they really nailed the design. This cake was just as delicious as it was beautiful. We will definitely use bird bakery again for future events.
Cute place that is aesthetically pleasing and has amazing food, coffee, and of course great sweet treats! They have an excellent variety of sweet treats; from cookies, brownies, and scones to a galore of fun flavors of cupcakes. My guy and I love going and getting the spinach artichoke grilled cheese with tomato soup and we love picking coffee and sweet treats to go with it. It’s one of our comfort foods and makes a great date
Bird Bakery did an incredible job with a smash cake for my daughter’s first birthday. The whole process was great- from choosing the size, flavors, and decorations. Laura helped capture my vision and made the whole process feel so special. The cake turned out so so beautiful- better than I could have imagined AND it tasted so delicious. Their cupcakes are also amazing. We got a dozen for her party and they were a hit. Lots of flavors to choose from and they even have gluten free options. Lastly, the staff is always kind and inviting! Shout out to Eileen who did a fabulous job decorating 💗🪲

Everything is delicious! One of the best sandwiches and cupcakes I’ve had in a long time.
Bird Bakery is my favorite breakfast hangout. Feels like I still like in the Small Town I grew up in. Everybody knows you when you walk in the door. 4 th of July so we are having homemade Apple Pie for breakfast with fresh whipped cream. Yes, I said homemade because it’s from scratch… if you understand that terminology:). Usually order “Deconstructed” Breakfast sandwich. Happy 4 th everyone. Oh and don’t forget to order custom cookies and cakes .. they are amazing.
Here just let me tell you what to order... SPINACH ARTICHOKE GRILLED CHEESE and add TURKEY! I promise if you love or like spinach artichoke dip THIS SANDWICH IS IT! Oh don't forget the lemonade.
Ordered cupcakes for my parents' 51st wedding anniversary and we were from out of town. I called the day before and they were very accommodating and had great suggestions. They were the only bakery that had some kind of dark chocolate for my diabetic parents so I was very grateful for that. Super cute idea to put the cupcakes in egg cartons! Wish I had the chance to eat there and I was definitely very tempted to order other treats!
The private room was a fabulous location for a bridal shower. The atmosphere was kinda artsy and kinda cottage vintage. It was just what we were looking for. The shower was just as expected from our contract. We had an assortment of sweets and tea size savory bites for a reasonable price. I would use Bird Bakery again in a second!
